Featuring an 8 piece band and a loving attention to detail with these classic country duets, Marin and Ben continue their project to perform every one of Porter & Dolly’s iconic albums.

The band features Noah Walker on b-bender Telecaster guitar, Tom Hammel on pedal steel, June Mirochnik on drums, Alison Jenkins on piano/accordion/vocals, Kathleen Nisbet on fiddle/vocals, and Steve Charles on bass/vocals. “Porter Wayne and Dolly Rebecca”” was originally released in March 1970 and spent 25 weeks on the US country charts, peaking at #4. It contains their gorgeous heartbreaker “Just Someone I Used To Know”, and the maudlin time capsule of a cautionary tale “Mendy Never Sleeps” where a teenager wearing hair straight and long leads inevitably to death, with a doleful monologue along the way.
